The most familiar format for information distribution is blogging /vlogging platforms. Average people sharing their own experiences, viewpoints, and solutions through articles, podcasts, and videos.
Social media platforms often limit our messages to 160 characters, while blogging expands the share of information infinitely. Please Note: Burnt Bridges Studio does not “build apps” for clients. We offer website services which are accessible on desktops, tablets, phones, and other online media sources. Although some would argue otherwise, the majority of phone and tablet apps are merely alternative formats of websites, sharing much of the same programming and capabilities.
So, what’s the difference between a website and an app? Consider the differences between a free-standing business office and a business tower or shopping center. While one is fully independent of other services and clientele, the others share a community space, common entry points and pathways, etc. Some are available to the public while others are limited to authorized entry only. All offer their own services and products. The major difference is how you access them (how they are ‘packaged’). While websites are usually accessed through internet browsers, apps are primarily (downloaded) sites accessed locally from your phone, tablet, or TV device and receive updates through…the internet.
